JWPce is free software under GNU General Public License was created by Glenn Rosenthal inspired by Stephen Chung JWP program, this program allows us to write Japanese characters in our computer, available for all Windows platforms including Windows CE and Pocket PC.
Some of its features are:
Online Dictionaries: Allows you to translate words in Hiragana or Kanji (in English).
Classification of Kanji: it has nine different ways of classifying kanji by stroke count, around corners, lecuta, etc..
Meaning of Kanji: We offer the information for each kanji, and reading on-yomi 音読み】 【おん よみ, kun-yomi 訓読み】 【くん よみ, Nanori なのり】 【名乗り by level, by meaning, and so on.
Specialized Dictionaries: JWPce It allows us to create our own custom dictionary and add specialized dictionaries, such as for names of places, aerospace and financial terms.
Autodiscovery clipboard: When you copy a Japanese text on the clipboard JWPce detected by making it easier to read pages in Japanese, either EUC, JIS, shift-JIS.
Unicode: JWP supports Unicode file both as to the clipboard.
Advanced Search: Allows you to search for words either by the level of language, words used only by men or women, slang, etc..
We can count the most common kanji.
